Alka Montessori School is currently looking for experienced self-motivated teachers who are passionate about inspiring children to learn and explore. Applicants must enjoy working with toddler age children, must know how to keep children’s attention during circle time, have a positive attitude, and work well in teams. We are looking for candidates who can work full-time hours and are available to work between the hours of 8am-5pm. 

Duties: Observe, guide, supervise, and assess children while they learn in a classroom environment. Developing lesson plans, independent learning exercises, curricula, and methods that cater to the needs of the individual child. Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued. 

Experience: 2+ years of experience as a teacher in preschool. Completed training at an accredited Montessori Center.
