In 2024, Alka expanded her impact by opening a second facility in San Jose, CA. With her unparalleled knowledge and dedication, Alka is committed to educating and nurturing each child, helping them thrive as unique individuals.
Small Class Montessori Approach
At Alka Montessori, we believe that a preschool should be an extension of a child’s home—a nurturing, safe, and warm environment where their curious minds are encouraged to explore and learn. Our approach is far from the factory-like setup of large schools, as we value and celebrate the uniqueness of each child. We see our school as a foundation that fosters individual growth and learning.
Over the past years, students from our program have been at par or ahead in reading, writing, and problem-solving (math skills) compared to their peers from different programs. However, what truly sets our students apart is their lifelong acquisition of essential skills and their ability to learn and achieve through self-motivation.
Our Method
Our method at Alka Montessori centers around a comprehensive Montessori curriculum that forms the backbone of our teaching approach. We prioritize using Montessori philosophy, tools, and materials while integrating a select number of conventional learning methods and tools. This unique combination ensures that our students not only thrive within our Montessori environment but also develop the necessary skills to transition to conventionally taught public grade schools seamlessly.
