At Alka Montessori, we aim to nurture the whole child by valuing their thoughts, feelings, and individual pace of development. Each child is placed in a small group with a dedicated teacher who provides love, care, praise, and consistent recognition. Our Mission

Through the proven philosophy and practices of the Montessori method, our certified Montessori educators create a kind, caring, and nurturing environment where curiosity thrives, independence grows, and confidence is built — all supported by a complete Montessori curriculum.

Alka Sharma: Founder, Director, and Head Teacher
Alka is a member of the American Montessori Society and a certified Montessori teacher. She is certified in early child development and has a graduate degree in child psychology and education. She also has over 20 years of current teaching experience in large preschools as a head teacher.
Her work experience includes being the head teacher at Ballard Montessori, the head teacher at Heads-up Montessori, and the director at Lakeview Montessori. For the past 15 years, she has been running her own facility and is the head teacher at Alka Montessori. She brings her considerable knowledge and learning to educate and help her students develop and grow as individuals.
